On a recent evening, a knight kept watch outside our door.
The power was out and had been out most of the day. Once the sun set and the light faded, the knight saw his chance. He found a piece of wood and wrapped the end with bits of cloth and set it alight.
He stood, ram’s horn in hand, as sentry … for a few minutes at least.
