I want to say a little something. It’s not a secret although it’s not something I share with everyone.

I want to let you know why limning the ordinary is so important to me. Why I find it so important to suffuse or find ways to infuse ordinary moments with light and with color.

The truth is it doesn’t come easily to me.

Some days are harder than others to do this.

I guess I don’t want you to think or assume that because limning moments with light and color is my focus in this publication that it comes naturally to me. It doesn’t.

Some days might be bright and colorful outside but metaphorically I feel like I’m locked inside and unable to break out and move beyond the darkness that threatens at the edge of my vision.
