Lest you think I forgot about the April Poem a Day Challenge or gave up on it altogether (which wouldn’t be too much stretching of the imagination, as sticking to prompts for 30 days running is something I have not yet managed to do) …
I’m still here and still with the challenge, although the poems of the last few days are shorter than normal for me.
But as I haven’t had the chance to post them one day at a time, here are the poems (with the prompts) of the last few days.
April 10 Prompt: [Blank] Better
All Shall be Better
If, in the beginning
all was good
then, though we have fallen
low
when all is well
and all redeemed
it shall be better
than we could know.
April 11 Prompt: Memory
Memories Beyond the Rainbow Bridge
Too many to number
do they still count
when they are forgotten?
Is there some resting place
where memories go
when we can hold them
no more?
April 12 Prompt: Funny
Home
Funny
how
a place
you've never
known
can
feel like
home
The first poems says succinctly an idea I entertain from time to time, even as I play with the ramifications. What does it mean that all things shall be made well?
Good work Bonita!
