I love scary stories, but only certain kinds. I don't go in for anything gratuitous, but scary stories? Sure thing, always down to try something.
The unrivaled king of scary movies for me is and will always be Poltergeist. I saw it when I was way, WAY too young and it's left a potent impression ever since. It will always have the ability to scare me.
Oh, yes. Those movies we watch when we're way too young. ☺️ When I was nine, my teenage sister and I were visiting our aunt. She let us pick what we wanted to watch. I don't even remember what I chose, but my sister picked a horror movie. (Can't recall the name of it ) I remember after watching it, trying to sleep tucked safely between my cousin and my sister, too afraid to close my eyes, lol.

Oohhh this is so good! I'm also an HSP and resonate with so much of your post - thanks!
Thank you! It wasn't until my mid thirties that I discovered the HSP category. It was like, "Wow, so much suddenly makes sense." 😂
Right?! I found it in my late 30s myself and it was a lightbulb moment for sure!!!
